Aaron Fennimore is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Sheppard Mullin's Orange County office.
Areas of Practice
Mr. Fennimore's practice involves intellectual property litigation, including trademark, copyright, patent, trade secrets, unfair competition and domain name disputes. Mr. Fennimore also handles enforcement and licensing of intellectual property rights, as well as prosecution of trademarks at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has counseled companies and individuals on matters related to the evaluation, clearance and protection of trademarks. He is a member of Sheppard Mullin's Clinical Contracting Team. Mr. Fennimore's practice also includes litigation experience in the area of finance and bankruptcy.
Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Mr. Fennimore worked for a large entertainment studio, assisting with talent contracts and clearance issues in the studio's Television Business and Legal Affairs department. He also spent several years assisting with the enforcement and prosecution of intellectual property rights in the studio's Litigation department, including management of the company's substantial trademark portfolio.

Recently helped secure a final summary judgment finding of non-infringement in a contentious trademark dispute in favor of our client, one of the largest financial institutions in Korea.
Obtained trademark registrations in connection with emerging technologies and online social networking, successfully overturning objections by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Pro Bono: Helped obtain a judgment of over $4 Million for a client defrauded out of her home and life savings as a result of a complex mortgage lending scam.
