Melissa K. Lee

Melissa K. Lee is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in Sheppard Mullin's Los Angeles office.

Areas of Practice

Ms. Lee defends employers in all aspects of labor and employment disputes, including allegations of race, age, sex, and disability discrimination, wrongful termination in violation of public policy, sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wage and hour violations.  She is also experienced in defending wage and hour class action lawsuits. Ms. Lee has represented employers in hearings in state court and before the California Labor Commission and the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.  She is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution and has assisted clients in obtaining favorable resolutions to disputes through mediation and direct negotiation. Ms. Lee regularly counsels employers regarding a wide variety of employment related matters, including personnel policies, discipline matters, and wage and hour issues.
