Mary E. Gram

Mary Gram is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office. 

Areas of Practice

Ms. Gram specializes in litigation with an emphasis on complex business litigation, products liability, commercial insurance and professional liability litigation. 

Ms. Gram has represented major corporate clients in matte from inception through trial and on appeal including conducting fact investigations, witness interviews,  preparing witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.  She has participated as trial counsel in both bench and jury trials.  She has conducted numerous depositions, propounded and responded to written discovery, drafted opening and closing arguments, drafted and conducted direct and cross-examinations, prepared exhibits, jury instructions and special verdicts.  She has had extensive client and witness contact, including researching, retaining and working closely with experts in preparation for trial.  She has briefed and successfully argued various matters before California appellate courts.

In addition, Ms. Gram has researched, drafted and argued numerous pretrial law and motion matters, including motions for summary judgment, judgments on the pleadings, demurrers, motions to strike, motions in limine, motions to compel and motions for protective order.  She has also negotiated favorable settlements in numerous state and federal court cases.
