Charles A. LeGrand is Special Counsel in the Intellectual Property and Entertainment & Media practice groups in the firm's New York office.
Areas of Practice
Mr. LeGrand has litigated numerous trademark, trade dress and copyright cases -- many for well-known designers and global brands in the fashion apparel and accessories field. He has represented a variety of clients in actions and administrative proceedings before Federal and State courts, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and the World Intellectual Property Organization. He has counseled clients with respect to clearance, licensing, and enforcement of intellectual property as well as issues concerning domain names and rights of publicity and privacy. Mr. LeGrand also has assisted clients with development of domestic and foreign trademark portfolios and anti-counterfeiting programs.
