Karen Canaan

Karen Canaan is a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm's Silicon Valley office.

Areas of Practice

Ms. Canaan has close to ten years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications for clients in the biotechnology, chemical, and medical arts industries.  As part of her practice, she prepares patent legal opinions and technology transfer agreements.  In addition, she has assisted her clients in developing trademark portfolios for their patented products and she has assisted her pharmaceutical clients with their FDA regulatory requirements.
