Melanie Rupp-Gufler

Melanie Rupp-Gufler is a Foreign Legal Consultant in the Entertainment, Media and Communications Practice Group in the firm’s Century City office.

Areas of Practice

Ms. Rupp-Gufler concentrates her transactional practice in the entertainment and media industry, assisting international and U.S. entertainment and media companies with all aspects of the development, production, acquisition and distribution of motion pictures. She has also worked on a number of new media transactions and assisted clothing manufacturers with various transactional matters.

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Ms. Rupp-Gufler practiced for several years as an associate in Vienna, Austria, focusing on intellectual property, e-commerce, corporate and European Union law. Her native language is German.
