Jeffrey Solomon

Jeff Solomon is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property and Corporate Practice Groups in the firm's Del Mar Heights office.

Areas of Practice

Mr. Solomon's areas of specialization include complex business and technology transactions, intellectual property licensing and corporate and intellectual property issues related to mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Solomon's business and technology transactional experience includes software licensing, development and implementation, content licensing, technology transfer, joint intellectual property development, marketing, and distribution agreements.

Mr. Solomon's mergers and acquisitions experience includes the negotiation of intellectual property representations and warranties and related disclosures based on industry specific knowledge and deal experience.

Mr. Solomon also counsels clients regarding intellectual property strategies and advises early-stage and emerging growth companies with regards to private equity financings.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Mr. Solomon was Director Business/Legal Affairs for independent film production company Ascendant Pictures (Lucky Number Slevin, Lord of War, the Big White).  Mr. Solomon was also previously with venture capital firm Market Bridge Venture Partners, and was a corporate associate in the Golden Triangle office of Gray Cary (DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary).
