Associate Skills Training

In 2009, Sheppard Mullin introduced a new Associate Skills Program that focuses on the needs of junior associates across practice groups. Through a firm-wide coordinated effort, associates may participate in over 50 live courses or log on to our on-demand "24/7" master video library to watch presentations. Course topics, taught by partners and senior associates, focus on building practical skills in areas such as Case Management, Docket & Calendaring Systems, and Oral Advocacy, as well as introduce nuts and bolts topics like Law and Motions Practice, Basics of Loan Documentation, and Introduction to Class Actions.

In addition to internally produced continuing legal education courses, the firm offers access to multiple external CLE providers at no out-of-pocket expense to the attorney.
