Senior Attorney  

Carole M. Ross is a senior attorney in the Labor and Employment Practice Group and the Business Trials Practice Group in the firm's Del Mar Heights office.

Areas of Practice

Ms. Ross has substantial experience with both employment litigation and advising companies on day-to-day employment matters. She advises clients on a wide variety of issues including human resource matters, personnel policies, wage and hour issues, and traditional labor law. She defends clients in lawsuits involving allegations of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour issues and unfair competition. Ms. Ross has experience in law and motion practice, deposition, trial, and arbitration. She defends clients in civil actions as well as charges filed with the California Department of Fair Employment & Housing, the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. She provides training including sexual harassment training and supervisor training.

Ms. Ross also has a great deal of experience with business litigation. Ms. Ross has experience representing companies in general litigation matters including unfair competition, trade secrets, breach of contract and Indian law.

Ms. Ross served as the Chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the San Diego County Bar Association. She also served on the board of directors for San Diego Citizens Against Law Suit Abuse (CALA).
