Dennis J. Smith

Mr. Smith is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.

Areas of Practice

Mr. Smith has worked on intellectual property matters including patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret.  He has represented companies involved in diverse technologies, including DNA sequencing, pet products, solar-powered LED devices, and plastic bag despensers.

Mr. Smith has also worked on a wide range of business litigation (including breach of contract, unfair competition, intentional interference with prospective economic advantage, intentional interference with contract, breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing) as well as corporate litigation such as unwinding of corporate merger.
