ClientMatters is our proprietary Extranet – a secure website created just for your company that only you and your Sheppard Mullin legal team can access.  It works likes this:  all work product related to the litigation and/or transactional matters handled by Sheppard Mullin is organized, posted and made instantly accessible to authorized users.  ClientMatters is a custom-built solution, designed to meet your specific needs, with features not found in most "off-the-shelf" tools employed by other law firms.

• The Documents module allows you to post all types of documents and organize them into folders in a way that is most logical and efficient for you.  We also use bit streaming technology so that no matter how large the file, you can start working on it immediately with no wait.
• The data is accessible only to those whom you grant access.
• The contact information for people associated with each matter appears on the screen for quick access.
• Workflow can be easily managed to ensure deadlines are met by automatic backdating from key due dates.
• The full text searching capability highlights "hits", enabling you to locate needed information anywhere on the site.
• For time-sensitive new developments, amended documents or impending due dates, there is an Alert! feature.

Do We Need Special Software To Access ClientMatters?

No.  ClientMatters was built using Microsoft.  Net technology.  All you need is access to the Internet and Windows Internet Explorer v5.5 or higher.
