Mr. DeBoskey is a partner in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the firm’s Los Angeles Office.
Areas of Practice
Mr. DeBoskey handles all facets of labor and employment law and has jury trial experience. He has defended employers against charges of wage and hour violations; race, age and sex discrimination; consent decree compliance issues; retaliatory discharge in violation of public policy; family and medical leave allegations, and sexual harassment. He has specific experience under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, California’s Wage and Hour Laws; the Fair Labor Standards Act; the Fair Credit Reporting Act; the Age Discrimination and Employment Act; the Americans with Disabilities Act, California's disability access laws, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the California and federal WARN acts, as well as other labor and employment laws.
Mr. DeBoskey frequently advises clients regarding various labor and employment issues, assists companies with implementing proactive compliance strategies, handles trade secret and non-competition matters, drafts employment documents, and serves as employment law counsel in connection with corporate transactions.
Mr. DeBoskey also has significant appellate advocacy experience. He served as a law clerk for the Honorable Kim McClane Wardlaw on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and is presently a member of the firm's Appellate Practice Group Team.
