Jessica Fairbairn

Ms. Fairbairn is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the firm's San Francisco office.

Areas of Practice

Ms. Fairbairn's practice focuses on representation of employers in employment law and traditional labor law issues before state and federal courts as well as before various administrative agencies. Ms. Fairbairn's employment law practice includes litigating disputes involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and breach of contract. Additionally, Ms. Fairbairn has defended employers against claims involving wage and hour violations, including representing employers in settlement conferences and hearings before the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement. In addition to her employment litigation experience, Ms. Fairbairn has traditional labor experience, which includes representing management in labor arbitration proceedings and advising employers on labor relations.
