Ms. Madon is an associate in the Government Contracts and Regulated Industries Practice Group in the Firm's Washington, D.C. office.
Areas of Practice
Ms. Madon has experience in all areas of federal government contract law including bid protests, contract administration, compliance, contract claims and disputes, international procurements, M&A transactions, and rights in technical data and computer software.
In addition, Ms. Madon regularly counsels clients on compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the Office of Foreign Assets Control regulations (OFAC), the Buy American Act (BAA), the Trade Agreements Act (TAA), and the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. Ms. Madon also provides advice on industrial security issues under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), to include facility clearances (FCL) and Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) mitigation.
Before joining Sheppard Mullin, Ms. Madon was an Assistant Counsel for the Defense Energy Support Center of the Defense Logistics Agency, Department of Defense. She has also interned for the Office of Chief Counsel for Industry & Security at the Department of Commerce and the U.S. Army Contract Appeals Division.
