Julie Yu

Julie Yu is an associate in the Intellectual Property Group in the firm's Shanghai Office.

Areas of Practice

Ms. Yu has experience in a variety of intellectual property and matters.  She advises clients on marketing, promotion and packaging issues in Asia.  She is experienced with drafting online privacy notices, terms and conditions and contest rules.  She has experience with negotiating and drafting intellectual property licenses. 

 Ms. Yu is experienced with defending Chinese companies in patent litigation in the U.S.  She is also experienced with all aspects of the litigation process in China.  She has assist clients with defending investigations by the Chinese government.  Ms. Yu assists clients with the enforcement of their intellectual property rights through negotiations, administrative proceedings and criminal proceedings.  She actively protects clients intellectual property rights on the Internet and is experienced with Internet investigation and takedowns.

Ms. Yu has rich knowledge on China’s Antimonopoly Law.  She has counseled clients on forming and defending patent pools in China.
