Madelyn Ma

Madelyn Ma is an associate in the Intellectual Property Group in the firm's Shanghai Office.

Areas of Practice

Ms. Ma has experience in a variety of intellectual property matters.  She is skilled with trademark clearance searches and trademark prosecution in China.  She has experience with reclaiming clients’ trademark from prior registrants in China.  She advises clients on how to protect their brand in China, and assists clients with anti-counterfeiting activities. 

 She is experienced with domain name registration and disputes in Asia.  Ms. Ma also assists clients with copyright registration and protection in China.  She actively protects clients intellectual property rights on the Internet and is experienced with Internet investigation and takedowns.  She has experience with negotiating and drafting intellectual property licenses. 

 Ms. Ma also has experience in the entertainment and media industry.  She assists international and U.S. entertainment and media companies with the development, production, acquisition and distribution of motion pictures.
