When One Is Not Enough: The Opportunities and Obstacles When Asserting Multiple Forms of IP in a Single Litigation
Having moved toward acquiring many different types of IP to protect their marquee products and services, right holders are now asserting diverse IP in a single lawsuit. This session will be divided into two parts — first, a discussion of available types of IP and choosing which IP to assert together; and second, a discussion of the details of asserting different types of IP together including forum selection, case management and scheduling, and theory of the case and remedies.
