Sheppard Mullin Adds International Trade Partner Duo
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP has expanded its Washington, D.C. office with the addition of two partners. J. Scott Maberry and Thaddeus Rogers McBride join Sheppard Mullin from Fulbright & Jaworski in Washington, D.C., where Maberry headed the firm's International Trade practice.

McBride represents U.S. and non-U.S. companies and individuals in international trade regulatory, compliance, investigative, and enforcement matters involving U.S. economic sanctions and economic embargoes (OFAC), U.S. export controls (ITAR, EAR, and others), the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), U.S. anti-boycott controls (OAC and U.S. Treasury Department), anti-money laundering and other banking controls (FinCEN), U.S. Customs and other import controls, USA Patriot Act requirements and compliance, WTO, NAFTA, and other multilateral and bilateral trade agreements, and U.S. international trade enforcement and regulatory actions. McBride received a J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2000, and a BA from Princeton University in 1995.
