Mr. Schnermann is an associate in the Labor and Employment Group in the firm's Washington, DC office.
Areas of Practice
Mr. Schnermann's practice focuses on Labor and Employment matters, particularly drafting employment, severance, non-competition, and non-solicitation agreements, as well as drafting employee handbooks in compliance with state and federal law. He routinely counsels clients on the implications of, and compliance with, various federal statutes, such as the National Labor Relations Act, the Railway Labor Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the numerous anti-discrimination statutes. His experience includes responding to Equal Employment Opportunity charges, resolving disputes over unemployment compensation, and addressing issues associated with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. He also focuses on the labor and employment issues faced by government contractors, including compliance with the Service Contract Act.
