Areas of Practice
Ms. Soggu is a patent attorney and focuses her practice on the preparation and prosecution of patents. Ms. Soggu has experience advising both large and small clients in a variety of technical areas, particularly computer hardware and software, graphical user interfaces, financial services, speech recognition, image recognition, digital media and advertising, social media, network switches, search engines, data storage, electrical devices, mechanical devices, medical devices, business methods, and consumer products.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Soggu practiced in the intellectual property group of a large law firm in Boston, Massachusetts and was sole in-house intellectual property counsel for an international software development company where she was responsible for all intellectual property matters including patent portfolio management, trademark prosecution, and software licensing, including open source.
Prior to entering law school, Ms. Soggu worked for a digital lifecycle agency where she developed e-commerce and interactive technology solutions for large and small clients.
