Rich Hanna’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and client counseling in a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, and computer science technological areas. He focuses on developing intellectual property strategies tailored to meet client business goals to protect and monetize intellectual property assets. Rich has extensive experience handling all aspects of patent prosecution and procurement before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Rich has significant experience with a broad array of technologies, including computer software, medical devices, business methods, e-commerce, video games, electronics, mobile devices, social media, semiconductors, fuel cells, heavy manufacturing, RF communications, and image processing.
Prior to attending law-school, Rich worked as a systems engineer for a small engineering start-up, designing and developing innovative medical device technologies.
