Vincent J. Brown

Vincent J. Brown is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's San Diego office.

Areas of Practice

Mr. Brown is a trial lawyer that practices business and commercial litigation. He has a wide array of experience in complex civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution, specializing in civil fraud, mortgage lending and securities litigation.

Mr. Brown has successfully advocated for his clients in Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement proceedings. Mr. Brown has successfully advocated for companies and executives in defending securities class actions.  He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in numerous disputes involving mortgage lending; insurance; securities and other class actions; appellate work; lender liability, health care; receivership; unfair business practices; breach of contract; negligence; and real property. Mr. Brown has worked on appeals which have resulted in published opinions regarding lender practices in the mortgage industry.

On January 29, 2008, Mr. Brown was appointed an administrative law judge (County Hearing Officer) by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors for a term to last until 2011.
