Ariel Shpigel is an associate in the Entertainment and Digital Media Practice Group in the firm's Century City office.
Areas of Practice
Ariel’s practice focuses on transactional entertainment matters, including development, production, distribution, talent deals, guild related matters, financing, licensing, and rights acquisitions for motion pictures and scripted and unscripted television productions.
Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Ariel worked as an associate at a major law firm, where she represented clients in telecommunications and complex commercial litigation matters, and as a legal intern at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
Ariel received her law degree from Harvard Law School, where she was an editor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology, submissions committee member for the Harvard Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law, vice president of the Committee on Sports and Entertainment Law, and research assistant for Stuart Brotman and Ken Basin’s Entertainment and Media Law Course.
