Justin Wang is special counsel in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm's Silicon Valley office.

Areas of Practice

Justin focuses his practice on a range of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution and litigation, with an emphasis in electrical and computer software arts. His practice involves a wide range of technical areas, including artificial intelligence and deep/machine learning; medical technologies; autonomous driving systems; sensor data processing; circuit design; VLSI design; digital signal processing; wireless communications; data networking and network management; CRM software; multimedia encoding and multimedia streaming; and AR/VR devices.

Justin has experience with preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a broad range of technical arts. He has provided assessments on various patent topics including validity of patents, freedom to operate, and patent infringement. Justin has experience with inter partes review proceedings and federal district court litigation.

While attending law school, Justin was Chief Articles Editor of the University of Texas Intellectual Property Journal and New Media Editor of the University of Texas International Law Journal. He interned for the Honorable Chief Justice Sherry Radack in the Texas First Court of Appeals.
