Variety Recognizes Six Sheppard Mullin Entertainment Attorneys in 2025 Dealmakers Report
Aaron Campbell, Robert Darwell, Ramela Ohanian, Aerin Snow, Nicolas Urdinola and Segun Aluko were featured in Variety’s 2025 Dealmakers Impact Report, which recognizes prominent transactional lawyers who have worked on the year’s most substantial and significant deals in the entertainment industry.
The attorneys were recognized for closing dozens of high-profile deals for clients in 2025 for Amazon MGM Studios, Meta, Skydance Sports, Lululemon and Toyota Motor North America, among others. In looking back on the last year, Darwell said to Variety, “There’s been a dramatic shift from the old days, when there was advantage in holding out, taking your time, rethinking and structuring the deal. Today, some client motivation is speed and efficiency in closing deals. Companies are prepared to take on more financial risk if it moves things along quicker.”
