Benjamin Berman is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm's Palo Alto office.

Areas of Practice

Benjamin specializes in intellectual property law with an emphasis on U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution.  He has worked with a wide range of technologies, including computer software and hardware (e.g., cloud computing architectures, data storage, encryption, networking, computer and enterprise security systems, wireless technologies, graphical user interfaces, databases, semiconductors, etc.), medical devices (e.g., optics, dialysis machines), and mechanical devices.

Benjamin has represented clients ranging from small startups to large public companies.  In addition to his legal experience, Benjamin also has several years of software development and Information Technology experience.
