The Century City office of Sheppard Mullin is currently seeking a transactional entertainment associate to join its internationally-recognized Entertainment and Digital Media group. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience working on entertainment transactions in film, television, streaming/digital media, music or sponsorship/endorsements, and preferably, development, finance, production and distribution. Candidate must have superior writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment concurrently servicing multiple leading industry clients. Prior experience in a law firm with a national reputation preferred and outstanding credentials from a highly ranked law school required. In-house experience at a studio, network or other media company also a plus. Preferred candidates will have had law school coursework in IP and entertainment-related subjects. Knowledge of a foreign language preferred. Candidate must already be admitted to the California bar.
