Chelsea A. Fraley is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's Orange County office.

Areas of Practice

Chelsea’s practice focuses on general business litigation, including breach of contract, business torts, real estate litigation, eminent domain, and other complex and high-stakes business litigation matters.

Chelsea helps her clients reach successful outcomes, including favorable settlements and dismissal of cases at the summary judgment phase. For example, following scorched-earth litigation related to an easement involving seven parties, Chelsea assisted with drafting the successful summary adjudication of all claims against a Fortune 100 oil company.

Chelsea also has a dedicated pro bono practice. Most recently, on behalf of a pro bono client forcibly pulled from her car and wrongfully strip searched by police officers (all for a minor parking violation), Chelsea successfully opposed a summary judgment motion brought on qualified immunity grounds. Because of this success, Chelsea’s client will be able to pursue her Fourth Amendment claims against the police officers at trial.
