Elizabeth (“Liz”) Baker is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's Century City office.
Areas of Practice
Liz’s practice focuses primarily on Private Wealth and Fiduciary Litigation. Liz is also a Certified Public Accountant and uses the skills she learned during her time practicing as a tax accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers to generate innovative strategies for her clients. Liz frequently represents trustees, beneficiaries, and other interested parties in will and trust contests as well as beneficiary and trustee disputes.
Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Liz worked for a boutique law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area specializing in trust and estate litigation, general civil litigation, and tax controversy representation. Liz also previously worked in the Silicon Valley office of an international law firm where she represented investors and entrepreneurs throughout the life cycle of business ventures including entity formation, venture capital financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
