Eamon Tierney is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the Washington, D.C. office.

Areas of Practice

Eamon focuses his practice on corporate transactional and regulatory matters, with an emphasis on the telecommunications industry. This experience includes:

  • Radio and wireless spectrum licensing issues using the FCC’s Universal Licensing System
  • Earth and space station licensing issues using the FCC’s International Bureau Filing System
  • Experimental licensing and special temporary authority applications
  • Spectrum purchase and lease agreements/negotiations
  • State and local issues regarding cable franchising and rights-of-way
  • FCC regulations regarding ultra-wideband technology
  • FCC regulatory issues facing critical infrastructure providers

Eamon actively commits to pro-bono work and has successfully applied for asylum on behalf of a Vietnamese refugee as well as successfully applied for compassionate release on behalf of a federal inmate. Prior to his legal career, Eamon served four years as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army. He continues to serve part-time as a Logistics Officer in the Tennessee Army National Guard.
