Isaiah Smith is an associate in the Antitrust and Competition Practice Group in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Areas of Practice

Isaiah’s practice encompasses several areas of antitrust law, including pre-merger notification, civil litigation, and government investigations. Isaiah’s litigation experience includes complex antitrust class actions, government-led cases, and responding to discovery demands issued to third parties. He also assists clients with Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) matters before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Department of Justice (DOJ). Isaiah works closely with clients to prepare pre-merger notification filings to ensure HSR compliance.

Experience

Isaiah served as an intern for the West Virginia Senate’s Judiciary Committee during college. He then worked as a summer associate during law school at both Dinsmore & Shohl LLP and Venable LLP before joining Venable’s antitrust group after graduation.
