Jay Chen is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm’s Century City office.

Areas of Practice

Jay’s practice focuses on general corporate matters. He advises startups of all stages on a variety of transactions, including, formation, venture capital financings, asset sales, merger and acquisitions, commercial agreements, corporate governance, and day to day matters.

Throughout Jay’s career, he has worked with companies in a broad range of industries, including technology, consumer products, fashion and apparel, ecommerce, and software services. Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Jay served as corporate counsel for one of the largest investment crowdfunding platforms in United States.
