Our premier Downtown San Diego office seeks an attorney with at least two years of experience advising clients on compliance with data privacy and security laws. Sheppard Mullin’s Privacy & Data Security team is nationally-ranked and growing. We are looking for candidates who share in this desire to develop their practice and build meaningful client relationships.

Ideal candidates will be familiar with advice and counsel on complex data privacy issues and cutting-edge technology, as well as data breach response, ransomware remediation, and managing consumer requests. Candidates should be passionate about the intersection of law and technology and have experience with fundamental cybersecurity standards and data privacy laws.  Candidates must be admitted to practice in California and preferred candidates will hold a CIPP certification.

Our interdisciplinary team includes some of the most respected lawyers in the industry. This is a great chance to grow with a close-knit group on matters that require a substantial degree of independent project management, responsibility, and client contact early on.
