Real Estate Associate (4-6 Years of Experience)
Our real estate and land use team seeks a mid-level to senior-level real estate associate to join us in our Downtown Los Angeles Office. The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of experience working on a variety of real estate transactions. We are interested in candidates who have solid experience and expertise in most of these areas:
- Purchase and sale transactions
- Drafting real estate documents relating to private and public development projects, such as development agreements, easement, covenant and parking agreements, ordinances and cost-sharing agreements
- Title and survey review
- Joint venture and investor agreements
- This position is not for a real estate finance attorney, but some experience in this area would be welcome.
The candidate must have strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills. It is expected that the candidate will be familiar with the laws that underpin various types of real estate documentation. Some familiarity with the land use/zoning processes in the City of Los Angeles and other cities in the Los Angeles area would also be helpful.
