Kieran Murphy is an associate in the Real Estate and Finance & Bankruptcy Practice Groups in the firm’s Washington, D.C. and New York offices.
Areas of Practice
Mr. Murphy’s practice encompasses a full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions, and he advises institutional real estate investors in both complex and traditional financings, acquisitions, dispositions and joint venture developments. Mr. Murphy regularly represents a premier international private equity firm in the purchase, leaseback and financing of net-leased properties of various asset classes (including office, industrial and mixed-use properties), as well as in sales of portfolios of such properties. He also concentrates his practice in the area of commercial real estate finance, representing both lenders and borrowers in originations of loans intended for securitization as well as balance-sheet loans, including construction and bridge financings. Mr. Murphy strives to appreciate each client’s business objectives and risk tolerance and to integrate these factors into his approach to the negotiation and documentation of each transaction in which he is involved.
