Partner Marc Sockol has been named by the editors of the Daily Journal among California's top intellectual property litigators and portfolio managers, in the paper's IP supplement published April 8, 2009.  Included in the list of the "25 Leading Portfolio Managers," Marc was recognized for his work in preparing and prosecuting patent applications related to a number of technologies, including data synchronization software, network security software, and wireless technology. A number of his data synchronization software and network security software patents have withstood litigation and ultimately have brought in significant licensing revenue for the patent owners.
