In the Sept. 2012 issue, Commercial Property Executive magazine ranks Sheppard Mullin among the Top Real Estate Law Firms in the U.S.  The ranking specifically recognized the firm’s representation of Forest City Development in the acquisition and development of Pier 70, a 25-acre mixed-use project on San Francisco’s Central Waterfront, at a cost of more than $1.5 billion.

The magazine’s ranking analysis takes into account a review of the firm’s corporate histories—including the number and type of real estate law practitioners in their firms, statistics on the number of offices, number of employees and changes by year—as well as a summaries of their recent matters.
