Betsy McDaniel Named an "Influential Woman in Bay Area Business" by the San Francisco Business Times
Betsy McDaniel, managing partner of the San Francisco office, has been named as one of "100 Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business" in the April 26 issue of the San Francisco Business Times.
The article lists Betsy's residence, background, education, board memberships and community involvement, an other accomplishments. Her mentors are listed as Judge Roy Wonder, Joe Darrell, and "all the women attorneys at Sheppard Mullin, who have taught me that women can be excellent and successful attorneys."
Betsy's career turning point was deciding to go to law school at age 35. Her advice for an ambitious young woman: "Be patient and don't be concerned if you take a different path than others might take. The important thing is to stay true to your values and keep your eye on your goal."
