Data breaches have a devastating impact on business and personal privacy. The Equifax breach is the most recent example of hackers taking advantage of corporate vulnerability. Shows like Mr. Robot have surged in popularity as our curiosity with hacking and cybersecurity continues to grow.

Given the importance of this critical topic, the Berkeley-Haas Alumni Network, in partnership with Sheppard Mullin invites you to join us for an interactive session to demystify cyber-terrorism. Led by Cyber Attorney Justine Phillips from Sheppard Mullin and the FBI’s CyberHood Watch, please join us for “Beating Mr. Robot: How to Protect You and Your Company from Hackers.” Learn from experts on the front lines about threat vectors, human vulnerabilities, the dark web, ransomware, business email compromises and how to empower yourself and organization to reduce the risk of a cyber incident. In addition to leading-edge content, the event offers an opportunity to connect with fellow alums and leaders in the San Diego business community.

Heavy appetizers, beer, wine, and other beverages will be provided.
