Directors and officers of start-ups have legal duties and obligations to many stakeholders arising from several sources. This Webinar will explain common issues facing start-ups and their counsel.

In this session we will:

  • Explain the roles of shareholders, directors, and officers.
  • Discuss the duties of officers and directors, with particular emphasis on common issues facing start-ups.
  • Provide an overview of the different obligations arising under a start-up’s certificate of incorporation, bylaws, and preferred stock financing agreements.
  • Discuss common errors and pitfalls made by start-ups.
