Sheppard Mullin Adds Finance Team In New York: Litigation Partner Susan Rosenthal and Transactional Special Counsel Alan Winick Join Growing Practice in Expanding Office

Susan Rosenthal has joined the New York office of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP as a partner in the Business Trial and Finance & Bankruptcy practice groups. Rosenthal, most recently at Brown, Raysman, Millstein, Felder & Steiner in New York, concentrates her practice in corporate and commercial litigation.

Also from Brown Raysman, Alan Winick joins Sheppard Mullin's New York office as special counsel in the Finance & Bankruptcy practice group. Winick focuses his practice on corporate and commercial transactions and has significant expertise in legal services to the finance industry, particularly with respect to equipment leasing companies and transactions.

Rosenthal and Winick represent financial institutions, such as U.S. Bank, CIT Group, Sovereign Bank, ICB Leasing Corp., OFC Capital Corp. and Tokyo Leasing USA Inc., in areas such as equipment leasing, secured transactions, lender liability and franchise financing.

Rosenthal received a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1974 and a B.A. from Harpur College, State University of New York at Binghamton in 1971. Winick received an LL.B. from Columbia University in 1956 and an A.B. from Tufts University in 1953.
