Firm Continues East Coast Transactional Expansion With Second Lateral This Month
Shon Glusky has joined the New York office of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP as a partner in the firm's Corporate practice group. Glusky most recently was a partner at Bingham McCutchen in New York.
Glusky focuses his practice on venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate counseling and debt restructurings. He has represented clients in transactions ranging from start-up financings to billion-dollar transactions and has counseled companies in diverse industries such as software, Internet infrastructure, applications and services, telecommunications, wireless technologies, biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare, and transportation. Glusky's clients include emerging growth and later-stage companies, venture capital funds, private equity funds, hedge funds and corporate acquirors.
"Shon's practice dovetails nicely with our transactional strengths in M&A and private equity. His joining the Corporate practice group and the New York office makes us even stronger," said Guy Halgren, chairman of Sheppard Mullin.
Commented Glusky, "I am excited to rejoin former colleagues at Sheppard Mullin, including Carren Shulman, Blaine Templeman and Jonathan Stoler, and to continue to expand the New York corporate practice. Sheppard Mullin is a top-notch full service firm that offers an excellent transactional platform. I am impressed by the strength and depth of the firm's corporate group, as well as the collegial culture and entrepreneurial spirit of the New York office."
"I look forward to again practicing with Shon," commented Russell Reid, managing partner of Sheppard Mullin's New York office, also a former colleague. "He brings a strong transactional expertise, which is an excellent foundation to further grow our New York corporate practice."
