Sheppard Mullin Represents Invenergy in Acquisition of the Grain Belt Express Transmission Project

Sheppard Mullin is representing client Invenergy in its acquisition of the development rights in the Grain Belt Express transmission project, pending appropriate regulatory approvals.  New transmission infrastructure is critical to supporting significant additions of renewable and clean generation sources to the nation’s electricity mix.  The Grain Belt Express high voltage transmission line will provide American homes and businesses with access to some of the lowest-cost renewable energy in the country.

The Sheppard Mullin team representing Invenergy is led by Matt Bonovich and Daniel Knudsen. Ben Huffman, Megan La Tronica, Amit Kalra and Kevin Cloutier are also providing key support.
