Donna Adams Harris is special counsel in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Houston office.

Areas of Practice

Donna has extensive experience in corporate and transactional work. She has represented companies in mergers and acquisitions, asset purchase and sales transactions, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and international transactions, including setting up international business operations. She represents a nationwide surface transportation company in corporate, regulatory and transactional matters, including managing governance matters for over 100 the company’s subsidiaries.

Donna has extensive experience in the energy industry, representing, amount others, oil field drilling companies, oil field service companies, natural gas gathering systems, natural gas processing companies, natural gas treating companies, environmental service companies and an oil and gas exploration and production company. She has drafted industry standard oil field service and drilling contracts. Donna has written and lectured on oil field drilling and service contracts, contract negotiation and indemnification and risk of loss.
