Annie Alvarado is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Orange County office.
Areas of Practice
Annie's practice encompasses a variety of corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, private equity, venture capital financing, business formation and structuring, and corporate governance matters.
As Lead Associate of the Firm’s Sports Industry Team, Annie also has experience in representing clients in various aspects of sports related matters. She has helped clients in the sports industry on commercial transactions, including stadium and venue projects, intellectual property licensing, and advising on the formation and launch of new sports leagues.
Before joining Sheppard Mullin, she worked at the UCLA Athletics Compliance Office on matters involving name, image and likeness, and served as a Fox Sports television broadcaster during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. As a former athlete herself, she brings diverse experience and perspectives to her transactional practice.
