Julia Ji is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Century City office. 

Areas of Practice

Julia represents public and private corporate clients on corporate advisory matters with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and securities law matters. She advises clients in a variety of industries in domestic and cross-border deals.

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Julia was an associate in a premier national law firm in Toronto, Canada specializing in corporate taxation.

While in law school, Julia was a research assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, Center for Law, Technology and Society and received a scholarship for her research efforts.   

Previously she was a certified digital project manager specializing in enterprise information architecture and held a position as a privacy officer at a financial services firm in Toronto, Canada. Julia also worked as a director of marketing and business development at an entertainment and media firm.
