Private Equity Team Advising Interstate Waste Services in Equity Investment from Ares Management Corporation
Sheppard Mullin is representing Interstate Waste Services (“IWS”), a portfolio company of private investment firm Littlejohn & Co., in connection with Ares Management Corporation’s agreement to acquire a significant equity stake in IWS. Littlejohn and Ares will each have significant ownership stakes in IWS following the transaction. Alongside the equity transaction, Sheppard Mullin assisted IWS with completing a debt recapitalization with a new first-lien term loan via a JP Morgan-led arranger group. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
