1-in-5 Fortune 500 Companies Still Use Risky Chinese Tech After U.S. Ban

Townsend Bourne, a leader of the Aerospace and Defense team, comments on the new Section 889 rules, which will prohibit the use of technology made by some Chinese companies in an effort to protect U.S. entities from spying. Townsend says the rules are “indicative of a new approach the federal government is taking to protect its supply chain.”  She expects to see increased scrutiny of products from companies that may pose a threat to U.S. security going forward.
