Sheppard Mullin Wins Texas Access to Justice Commission’s 2022 Champion of Justice Competition
The Texas Access to Justice Commission (“ATJ”) has named Sheppard Mullin the winner of its 2022 “Champions of Justice” firm competition (in the medium-size firm category), which recognizes the highest level of attorney participation and the highest amount of money raised in support of the statewide Justice for All Campaign.
Every year, as part of dues renewal with the State Bar of Texas, attorneys are given the opportunity to help low-income Texans who need legal assistance by making a monetary donation to the Justice for All Campaign. The funds go to civil legal aid organizations throughout the state that work tirelessly to ensure the voices of vulnerable Texans are heard. In 2021, the Justice for All Campaign raised over $1.5 million – the highest amount ever raised.
Winners were recognized during the Champion of Justice Law Firms Reception, held at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center at the University of Texas in Austin on October 25.
