European Competition Law

London partner Oliver Heinisch and Brussels associate Anton Gerber, both German natives, contributed to the standard treatise "European Competition Law" (3rd edition, 2024), published by Nomos in the German language. The treatise comprises over 3000 pages, covering all aspects of EU competition law, ranging from antitrust, merger control, State aid to procedural rules, and the newly adopted Digital Markets Act and Foreign Subsidy Regulation. It is regarded as a leading German language authority on EU competition law.

Oliver co-authored the chapter entitled “Artikel 101 AEUV – Fallgruppen – Immaterialgüterrechte,” in English. “Article 101 TFEU – Case Groups – Intellectual Property Rights.” Anton authored the chapter entitled “Verordnung (EU) Nr. 2019/452 über ausländische Direktinvestitionen,” in English‚ “Regulation (EU) No 2019/452 on Foreign Direct Investments.”
